Topic 6 Video Editing and Outputs

I will be traveling to France with some of my students in the Spring. After first experimenting with some footage I shot in France a couple of years ago, I decided to try something new. I wanted to try using Google Earth to discuss the places we will be visiting and, since I just wrote a grant for a SMART board, I decided to use that as part of my video presentation. In order to shoot this video, I enlisted the help of a student who is in TV production and also my son, who zoomed from place to place using Google Earth.

I am still having an issue with sending or embedding files, especially those over 10MB. Is there a trick to this? Can i compress a file and then embed it, or does that only work with email attachments?

Blogger must have some specified size limit for video or images. LInking it form your iweb would work if you could get your iweb up. YOu might look around the blogger info or search for video size. Compressing the file would not allow it to show when someone viewed your blog. The email size might be small enough? Alison
